Welcome to Charlie Ticotsky, Advocacy Director

June 22, 2015

After an exhaustive search with many qualified candidates, Transportation for Massachusetts is pleased to announce the hiring of Charlie Ticotsky as our new Advocacy Director, effective Wednesday, July 8.

Charlie has worked as the Government Affairs Specialist at the Metropolitan Area Planning Council, where he focused on developing and advancing MAPC’s legislative and budgetary priorities. Charlie coordinated the North Shore Coalition, a group of mayors, town managers, and town administrators who work on issues of shared concern, was the program manager for the Metro Mayors Shannon Grant Community Safety Initiative, a nine-municipality site of a state-wide anti-youth and gang violence grant, and provided legislative assistance to the Massachusetts Association of Regional Planning Agencies (MARPA), the Massachusetts Smart Growth Alliance (MSGA), as well as T4MA. Before that, he served as the Legislative Director to Rep. Jay Kaufman (D-Lexington). He knows the State House inside and out.

We look forward to working with Charlie!
